(New Philadelphia, Ohio) — Empower Tusc, the Tuscarawas County Addiction Task Force and the 922 Initiative is inviting the public to attend the upcoming Community Drug Take Back and Resource Fair at Mako’s Market on August 26, 2022. 

The event will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Several community partners will be in attendance and will provide touch a truck; free naloxone kits; drug take back; drug deactivation bags; resources for addiction, recovery, support, and youth prevention; and giveaways!

“We are excited to offer this free community event to the public,” explained Empower Tusc Coordinator, Jodi Salvo. “Not only will the event provide a plethora of information and resources, but we hope it continue to strengthen relationships in our county that support our local prevention efforts.”
