(New Philadelphia, Ohio) – Empower Tusc is commending the community for participating in the Drug Take Back Day on April 22nd

Collection took place at Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital in Dover and Trinity Hospital Twin City in Dennison on April 22nd from 10:00 a.m. – 2 p.m. The event saw 23.4 pounds of unused and unwanted medication collected at Trinity Hospital Twin City and another 151.6 pounds collected at Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital.

This event is designed to collect unused and unwanted prescription drugs from homes to prevent those items from ending up in the wrong hands.
